課程概述

週五上午 10-12 am 廠訪討論
Planning/Discussion: Friday, 10-12 am, bi-weekly
現場訪視: 以e-mail通知,大概每1-2週去現場訪視調查,每次約半天 [4 hours](必要時全天)
visits/walkthrough: noticed by e-mails, for about 4-hours [sometimes a working day if indicated]

This class is case-oriented, problem-solving approach for learning practical issues of occupational and environmental health problems of workers who are potential victims of work-related diseases/injuries. It provides a unique opportunity for graduate students and residents of occupational medicine to integrate and apply practical skills and training for hazard identification through onsite walkthrough, discussion and writing reports. Under the supervision and guidance of senior occupational physicians, the trainee will develop technology of how to recognize occupational and environmental hazard as well as recommendation for prevention and management. 

課程目標
從醫院門診、照會與公司或工會懷疑與工作相關之傷病個案,在資深職業醫學醫師指導下,提供學生現場訪視之實務經驗,挑戰學生主動思考,培養現場考察與危害評估能力,及探討職業衛生問題及擬定預防職業傷病方案之知能。 
課程要求
教學方式以現場訪視[site visit/ walkthrough]為主,參加課程者需交6份現場訪視報告[individual reports]及1次期末個案研究(case study)的簡報及報告[team work]。
